Pirelli’s new designer is none other than John Malkovich. He has designed the first PZero men’s capsule collection, with two shoes for his Technobohemian line, dubbed the Boholacchino and Bohosneaker.
The Boholacchino is a canvas and denim ankle boot without finishes and with piqué-print rubber appliqués, according to Pirelli. The Bohosneaker, meanwhile, is a denim sneaker with vacchetta leather appliqués and crust leather toe. The rubber sole and insole feature the phrase, ‘Technobohemian, by John Malkovich’.
They will be sold exclusively in the Pirelli flagship store on the Corso Venezia in Milano.
The shoes are Malkovich’s second collaboration with Pirelli: he had starred with supermodel Naomi Campbell in the Pirelli short film The Call, directed by Antoine Fuqua.
