Unilever brand Lynx is launching a competition which will see one lucky winner go on a trip of a lifetime: beyond the stratosphere and into space.
Opening January 21, the Lynx Space Academy is being fronted by astronaut Buzz Aldrin. The winner will head into space on the Lynx SpaceXC shuttle in 2014.
Entrants should join the Academy at LynxApollo.com to enter their profile. The top candidates will head to the Lynx Space Academy to face a number of physical and mental challenges. The four top candidates there will head to Orlando, Fla. for space simulations. One winner will head into space on the shuttle’s launch.
As part of the promotion, Lynx “astronauts” arrived in the UK with a replica of the Lynx shuttle. The replica itself weighs 1·5 tonnes and is three double-decker buses wide. It will be displayed at Westfiled White City on January 12 and 13.
Lynx has a Facebook page at facebook.com/lynxeffect, where there are further details of the competition.
